Ivanec undoubtedly stands out as a leader in the program in Croatia and an example of good practice in developing a stable, competitive and development-oriented local economy. This fourth certification further confirms the city's long-term commitment to strengthening entrepreneurship and promoting sustainable development.

The certificate was received on behalf of the City of Ivanec by Deputy Mayor Marko Friščić, in the presence of the Head of the City Stjepan Vincek and the Director of the Ivanec Business Zone Lana Labaš. On behalf of the Center for Local Economic Development of the Faculty of Economics, University of Rijeka (CLER d.o.o.), the certificate was presented at the Faculty by prof. dr. sc. Nada Denona Bogović, director of CLER d.o.o.

The BFC SEE certification process is extremely demanding and extensive and involves a high level of coordination, expertise and engagement of numerous stakeholders. This success therefore represents not only confirmation of the quality of the business environment, but also recognition of the team that systematically and responsibly works to improve living, working and investment conditions.
