Chamber of Commerce of the Republic of Srpska organized a conference - Partnership - investments - sustainable development

At the conference "Partnership - investments - sustainable development", organized by the Chamber of Commerce of the Republic of Srpska, BFC SEE certificates for favorable business environment were awarded to local self-governments that successfully passed the certification process.

The municipalities and cities received certificates: Banja Luka, Bijeljina, Brod, Gradiška, Istocna Ilidža, Laktaši, Novi Grad, Prijedor, Prnjavor and Teslić.

As part of the conference, contracts were signed on the initiation of new BFC certification processes with the local communities of Derventa, Trebinje, Doboj, Zvornik, Modriča and Čelinac.

Goran Račić, President of the Chamber of Commerce of the Republika Srpska, spoke about the importance of the BFC certificate and the support of the Chamber of Commerce in his opening address, and the Conference was attended by the Prime Minister of the Republika Srpska Savo Minić, Minister of Economy and Entrepreneurship Vojin Mitrović, Minister of Administration and Local Self-Government Senka Jujić, representatives of institutions, business and international organizations.

As part of the program, a panel "BFC SEE certificate - support for sustainable local development" was held, where representatives of local communities and the economy discussed experiences and good practices, as well as a lecture "Sustainable development from the perspective of local communities" by Prof. Dr. Ernest Vlačić.

For 13 years, the BFC SEE program has been contributing to the improvement of competitiveness and sustainable development of cities and municipalities in the region, connecting institutions, local communities and the economy in a common goal - creating a stable and stimulating business environment.
