Five Local Governments Launch BFC SEE Certification Process under REDAH Technical Secretariat

Five cities and municipalities have officially embarked on the BFC SEE certification journey under the technical guidance of the REDAH Technical Secretariat, marking an important step toward strengthening their business environment and investment readiness. This new cycle of certification reaffirms the commitment of local governments in the region to meet internationally recognized standards for efficient, transparent, and investor-friendly administration.

As part of the preparatory phase, representatives of the participating local governments attended a comprehensive training, hosted at the premises of the Municipality of Stari Grad Sarajevo. The session provided an in-depth overview of the BFC SEE methodology, including standard requirements, evaluation criteria, implementation timeline, and key responsibilities throughout the certification process.

Before the formal assessment phase begins, municipal teams will additionally participate in a dedicated online training focused on the use of the BFC SEE software platform - a core tool that supports data collection, monitoring, and communication throughout the certification process. This digital solution ensures efficiency, consistency and full traceability of all activities, enabling local governments to navigate the process smoothly and effectively.

We wish a successful certification process to cities and municipalities of Stari Grad Sarajevo, Doboj Jug, Vogošća, Kalesija and Zavidovići.
