Through the Department for Local Economic Development and Social Activities, the city provides full support to investors—from initial information and administrative procedures to ongoing assistance once business operations begin. Regular dialogue between the city administration, the mayor, and the Economic Council ensures that private sector needs remain at the center of local development strategies.
The dedication of the city of Prnjavor to be the support to their local economy is proven by the Mayor Darko Tomaš's vision:
"We want Prnjavor to be a pleasant place for everyone to do business, in which the City Administration of the City of Prnjavor is your partner and support in every respect!
The dynamic development of the local economy is our common, key strategic commitment. In this sense, creating a favorable business environment is not only an intention, but also a firm commitment of the City Administration of the City of Prnjavor, with the aim of strengthening existing business entities, helping you become more competitive, both on the domestic and foreign markets, to provide support for your development, to meet you when you are facing problems, as well as to attract new direct investments, which will further contribute to making Prnjavor from "Little Europe", to become "Europe in miniature".
Of particular importance for the overall economic development of the City of Prnjavor is the continuity and quality of the public-private dialogue, which takes place through the Economic Council and other forms of direct communication between the mayor and the Department for Local Economic Development and Social Activities with business representatives. It is extremely important that the voice of the economy is heard through inclusion in various types of non-institutional public-private dialogue. The success of all of us will depend on the joint engagement of all local resources, increasing productivity, better marketing performance, as well as the ability to adapt to new, dynamic changes and market conditions in the country and region!"
