On February 26, 2025, another training on the requirements of the IV edition of the BFC SEE standard was held in the premises of NALED, bringing together representatives of cities and municipalities from Loznica, Ćuprije, Lapovo, Raška and Mionica. The goal of the training was to strengthen the capacity of coordinators and members of municipal teams to meet the criteria necessary to obtain a certificate on a favorable business environment.
During the training, participants had the opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of the certification process and the key criteria of the standard, such as local development strategy, organizational capacities for economic development, entrepreneurship support, digitalization of administration and environmental protection. Particular emphasis is placed on detailed guidelines on the relevance of evidence required for successful certification.
Participants who participated in the BFC SEE certification program according to the previous editions of the standard, were happy to share experiences and advice with their colleagues, pointing out the importance of the program, and especially the necessity of management support for successful implementation.
The BFC SEE program is a key instrument for improving the business climate in local communities throughout Southeast Europe, enabling cities and municipalities to improve their administrative capacities and attract investors.
