Representatives of BFC SEE Regional Council met in Belgrade with the Prime minister of Serbia, Ana Brnabic, on 10th November. On that occasion, members of the Council, who are representatives of institutions and organizations from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Macedonia and Serbia presented the network for business friendly environment, its structure, as well as the achieved results.
The main topic of the meeting was certainly the creation of a platform for a business friendly environment, all for the purpose of long-term regional cooperation through the harmonization of business conditions and exchange of examples of best practice in the area of regulatory reform in the region. In addition, one of the topics discussed was the organization of a regional conference for BFC SEE municipalities where an initiative to form the BFE platform should be launched.
After the meeting, the Prime Minister stated the following: "This morning I had a meeting with representatives of countries in the region and we discussed about a regional platform for the business friendly environment. We introduce vouchers for seasonal workers, which is a system that we have learned from Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Macedonia, Montenegro and have taken the certification process for local governments. There are a lot of activities that we work on in the region and which give concrete results.“
