City of Zenica, new BFC SEE municipality

Final conference on Business friendly certification process of the city of Zenica was held on 30^th October, in Zenica's City administration building. The conference was attended by Fuad Kasumović, mayor of Zenica, Jozo Bejić, president of the BFC SEE network in FB&H and Vojislav Ivanović, consultant of the Catholic Relief Services (CRS). Apart from them, directors of the public companies, representatives of the Employers association and Business associations were present, as well as members of Zenica’s BFC certification team.

President of the BFC SEE network in FB&H, Jozo Bejić, said that Business friendly certification process started in 2012. with aim of transforming municipalities into the destinations with business friendly environment. Fuad Kasumović, mayor of Zenica said: “We are happy that the City of Zenica is officially the holder of the prestigious regional BFC certificate. It is a confirmation of the City Administration's commitment to local economic development and improvement of the environment for the life and work of all citizens’’. He emphasized that he believes that in the process of recertification City of Zenica will yield even better results.

The conference ended with the ceremonial unveiling of the BFC SEE board in the City administration building whereby the City of Zenica officially joined the municipalities and cities with business friendly environment in Southeast Europe.
